Liquid Love
(2012, JauneOrange) Belgium, Liège.
Here is The Experimental Tropic Blues Band’s new album, recorded by Mister Jon Spencer himself. Classy. The sound is a killer.
The Experimental Tropic Blues Band, is the best rock band : http://vimeo.com/16536542
That album is little bit less violent than “Captain Boogie” and you’ll find some piano parts. The great ideas are still here and I still enjoy Dirty Cock’s backing vocals, and that from the very first song The Best Burger and its awesome videoclip : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAHG-1wS_pY
I love you too : Can’t Change (à 0:21).
Nothing To Prove, Part 2 is a really powerful and awesome song.
The reverb on Do It To Me‘s vocals is just awesome (great part at 1:11). It’s really funny this rhythmbox on that track and on T.E.T.B.B. Eat Sushi (which reminds me of Man Man).
I can’t wait to see them live.
A terrific record.

Captain Boogie
(2009, JauneOrange) Belgium, Liège.
Second album by The Experimental Tropic Blues Band.
The first thing you’ll notice is that Dirty Cock’s backing vocals are more in front and that is a great idea.
The band put a little on the side its primary references (Jon Spencer etc…) and goes crazy like in Ooh and its apocalyptic Finale.
Let’s enjoy Those Dicks ! (What a terrific videoclip : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRCaRAP2OC8) As always, Dirty cock’s backing vocals are huge. I love the breathing at 1:38.
I love the final part at 1:53 in Bang Your Head and that speed-tempo part at 2:35 in Cock-A-Doodle-Do.
Fed up with Rock and Blues ? Don’t panic and dance with Disco D’Inferno.
A Must-have in your collection : Bravo !

Hellelujah
(2007, JauneOrange) Belgium, Liège.
Here is their very first album, the sound is good and the songs are still cool, but it seems very calm compared to all they’ve played after.
Really hard to find a copy these days haha.
Garbage Man is a track to see played live (And well recorded, Boogie Snake is a great singer).
I do love the main guitar riff in Rene The Renegade.
The breathing in I Went Down are a great idea.
A good record.
