Let’s start this record with the terrific Flatlands with a great guitar riff and genius ambiences.

The Way We Used To and Spinning Centers are really great and the melodies remain in mind.

I already said that Chelsea got a beautiful voice, but Appalachia is just sublime.

An amazing album.

Chelsea Wolfe - Apokalypsis

Second album by Chelsea Wolfe and another great release.

I really love this album artwork.

Demons is my favorite track on that one and I love the part at 2:27.

Tracks (Tall Bodies)‘s riff remains in head.

I love Friedrichshain‘s finale.

Her voice in Mer reminds me a lot of Beth Gibbons, and I love the percussions in that song (videoclip here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjSkktZL7zk)

Momentum in that record : Pale On Pale which last 7 minuts and is terrific.

A good album.

Chelsea Wolfe - The Grime And The Glow
Chelsea Wolfe is a talented singer and guitarist. I saw her live in Paris @ la Flèche d’or the 12nd March 2011 and I kept a good memory of it.
She mays remind you of PJ Harvey, but I think Chelsea got her own universe.
I bought that record after “Apokalypsis” and it is awesome, really hard to select only 5 tracks.
The sound is huge and you start the adventure with Advice & Vices.
I love this idea of guitar production and rhythm box in Moses.
The vocal chorus at 1:04 in Cousins Of The Antichrist are magic.
I love the ambiences in Fang and Benjamin (and its reverby piano).
A must-have.

Nouvel album acoustique de Chelsea Wolfe : Mais elle n’arrête pas !!

Alors il tombe à pic car il est à écouter en hiver auprès de sa cheminée, ou de son ipad avec appli feu de bois.

Comme d’habitude, on est fixé dès le premier titre Flatlands avec un superbe riff de guitare et de superbes ambiances qui en découlent.

The Way We Used To et Spinning Centers sont vraiment magnifiques et comme la plupart de ses titres, l’air reste vraiment dans la tête.

Je l’ai déjà dit, Chelsea a une belle voix, mais Appalachia est juste sublime.

Chelsea Wolfe, reine des ambiances ? Oui : Hyper Oz.

Un excellent album.

Second album pour Chelsea Wolfe et toujours une excellente sortie.

J’aime beaucoup l’artwork de cet album.

Le titre Demons est celui qui m’a le plus marqué sur cet album (et la reprise à 2:27).

Le riff de Tracks (Tall Bodies) reste bien en tête.

J’aime bien le final de Friedrichshain.

Sa voix dans le titre Mer fait énormément penser à Beth Gibbons, c’est troublant et j’aime bien le mélange des genres avec les percussions.

Enfin, momentum de l’album, Pale On Pale est un morceau de 7 minutes qui est majestueux.

Un bon album.

Chelsea Wolfe - The Grime And The Glow
Chelsea Wolfe est une chanteuse guitariste très talentueuse que j’ai vu par hasard lors de son live à Paris à la Flèche d’or le 12 Mars 2011 dont j’ai gardé un bon souvenir.
Elle est souvent comparée à PJ Harvey mais je trouve qu’elle a son univers bien à elle.
J’ai acheté cet album après “Apokalypsis” et il est vraiment excellent également, une fois encore tout l’album est cohérent et c’est dur de faire une sélection.
Le son est excellent et on rentre direct dans l’ambiance avec Advice & Vices.
J’adore la production sur les sons de guitare et boite à rythme sur le titre Moses.
Le doublage voix à 1:04 dans Cousins Of The Antichrist est magique.
Encore des ambiances superbes de créées avec Fang et Benjamin (et son piano plein de réverbe).
Un must have dans ta collec.
